Eating food is the most exciting thing we do everyday ! but what unique to cook every other day is the biggest problem faced by our moms. They debate with all the family members about it and sleep thinking about it. This problem can be solved if you make a chart for a week about what to eat when and do certain alterations in it every week. In this way cooking will be pre-planned and moms will have a peaceful sleep. Here are some useful recipies that are very easy to make and are the most delicious ones at the same time. They will help you when making the cooking chart. Have a look at them.
A very easy,healthy and delecious breakfast:
Take a boiled egg. Mash its white with a fork and add a pinch of salt, a pinch of black pepper and 1 table spoon mayonnaise in it. Mix it well . Take two slices of bread and put mayonnaise on one of their sides. Put this egg white mixture on one of the slice and spread it well. Put a cheese slice on top of it. Cover it with the other bread slice and have it. It is simple but the cheese and egg white mixture gives such a yummy taste that you will crave for more for sure.
Some other simple chicken recipies:
A Good Easy Garlic Chicken:
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken and sprinkle with garlic powder, seasoning salt and onion powder. Saute about 10 to 15 minutes on each side, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.Enjoy!
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
750 g chicken thigh fillets
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
500 g tomatoes, finely chopped
1/4 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
2 tablespoons grated ginger
2 tablespoons fresh coriander,chopped
1-heat 2 tbsp oil in a medium pot and fry onion and garlic for a few minutes on high heat (be careful not to burn onion).
2-add the chicken, turmeric, chili powder and salt.
3-fry over medium low heat for 5-10 minutes, or until golden brown, scraping the base of the pan frequently and turning the chicken.
4-add tomatos, cover and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.
5-uncover and simmer for 10 minutes so that excess liquid evaporates and the sauce thickens.
6-add cumin, ground coriander, ginger and fresh coriander and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
7-serve hot with plain rice, pitas or naan bread.
Simple Chicken Karaahi:
3-Fry on low hear till the water in the chicken dries.
4-After the water dries fry the chicken in the oil till it turns light brown.
5-Add salt, red pepper, ginger and garlic.
6-Cut tomatoes and add in the chicken.
7-Cover the wok/pot and cook at low heat.
8-Let the tomatoes cook and when you see the oil on the chicken, sprinkle fresh coriander.
9-Chicken Karahi is prepared.
11-P.S: You can also add 1 tbsp of Achar Gosht Masala available at the Asian grocery stores.
Some Amazing and quick Vegetable Recipies:
1 small onion
1 -2 tablespoon oil
4 -5 garlic cloves, pounded
1 tablespoon ginger paste
1 tomato, pureed
1 teaspoon sugar
1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
5 -6 tablespoons cream
1-Fry garlic in oil.
2-Add onions and fry till golden.
3-Add ginger, tomatoes, and peppers and fry for 2-3 minutes.
4-Add paneer, fenugreek and toss.
5-Pour in cream and simmer for a few minutes.
6-Serve hot with roti or basmati rice.
Parmesan Garlic Potatoes:
6 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
8 red potatoes (unpeeled, halved lengthwise and dried completely with a paper towel)
salt and pepper
1-Set oven to 375°F.
2-Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
3-Pour the melted butter into the bottom of the baking dish, then sprinkle with garlic powder, then Parmesan cheese.
4-In a large bowl toss the potato halves in olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
5-Place the potatoes cut-side down over the Parmesan cheese in the baking dish.
6-Bake for about 40-45 minutes, or until tender.
7-If desired you can also sprinkle some garlic powder over the potatoes with the salt and pepper and adjust all amounts to taste.
Spinach with Cheese (paalak paneer):
Cheese – Ten, two in . cubes
Onion — 2, finely chopped
Spinach Puree — 2 cups
Ginger and Garlic Paste — Two tsp
Coriander Powder — One teaspoon
Cumin Powder — 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – One teaspoon
Green Chilli – 1 tsp, chopped
Lemon Juice – 3 tblsp
1-Boil some onions, ginger, garlic, green chillies and dry powders in 1 cup drinking water for 10 minutes
2-Mash till it becomes a sleek paste.
3-Cook the onion paste in 1 tblsp oil for Three minutes.
4-Include the actual spinach puree and blend nicely.
5-Include the cheese cubes and cook for few seconds.
6-Add lemon juice.
8-Sprinkle some grated cheese and cream.
